In today's society most teenagers have a split family, and it's hard on a lot of kids; most become angry at one of the parents after this happens. This is a situation where the teenage daughter rebels and starts wearing black and stealing things. I've heard about teenage rebellion many times, and it seems constant in today's society. I also know that many kids have to go through the fact that one of their parents is diagnosed with a fatal disease. This can also be hard, especially when the kid starts to distance themselves from friends and loved ones so that they can be alone. I have had a father who left when I was young and we don't really talk, and I'm angry with him; however, I'm not rebelling and putting purple streaks in my hair like Ronnie did. What Ronnie did seems natural to me, especially with today's society.
